It took us about two weeks to analyze the game's texture algorithms and finally we solved all the problems.

How does invisibility work?

Remember how at the beginning of a battle or after death your tank becomes almost completely transparent for a moment? We took advantage of this internal function of the Tanki Online game: our cheat simply changes the time during which your tank remains invisible. Or rather, it does it forever.

The second problem is that the tank is still visible, albeit a little. We analyzed the data flow between the browser in which the game is opened and the server, and found a small vulnerability, thanks to which you can control not only the time of invisibility of the tank, but also the level of this invisibility. It is set in the settings on a scale from 0% (a completely invisible tank) to 100% - normal mode, the tank is completely visible (like all players).

Why do you need an invisibility cheat?

  • You don’t have to hide from enemies, but simply drive up to a convenient distance and shoot them point blank.
  • In order to capture the enemy's flag with impunity: who can stop the invisible tank?
  • Well, just to make fun of your opponents. For example, you can stand on their road and watch how the tank is “poking” into an empty space and cannot pass through it.

5. Several options for coloring and design of the ring - choose any one from the “Options” folder. The selected option must be renamed Circle15.dds and moved to the objects folder, replacing the files. You can make your own circle texture.

Settings

To configure the mod in your World of Tanks client:

  • Install the mod according to the instructions below
  • Go to the folder res_mods\game-version\scripts\client\mods
  • Open the Circle15.cfg file

The file contains four parameters with hints.

  • The first parameter is HotKey. With its help, you specify a key, when pressed, it turns on the display of a circle around your tank. You can assign any button on the keyboard that is not used for other World of Tanks functions.

  • PoleMode shows the projection of your tank's centerline to infinity. Its purpose is not very clear. It can be used to place the frontal armor of your tank at the correct angle to an enemy shot, but there are more advanced mods for similar purposes. By default, this option is disabled.
